Fostering Brilliance

Dear UTS Parents and Guardians,

The 2023-24 school year has been filled with much joy and opportunities for growth. I hope this time was a wonderful one for your child as they explored areas of new learning, deepened friendships and honed new skills.

I wish to thank UTSPA and all our families for working in partnership this year. It’s been inspiring to see the commitment and passion we share, and I look forward to continuing our work together in the creation of a welcoming and dedicated school community that supports each child in fulfilling their potential.

Thank you also to our dedicated UTS staff, who bring learning to life and undertake all the behind-the-scenes work that keep our school running smoothly. It is a busy and often demanding job, but one undertaken with a deep commitment to students.

And finally, I am grateful to the students for sharing their delightful curiosity, an eagerness to learn and a truly boundless degree of energy that never fails to leave me astonished (and occasionally exhausted!). They keep me on my toes in the best possible way as they challenge me to make UTS the best it can be. I look forward to more opportunities next year to hear their ideas for improvement as we work together to build community and school spirit.

Yesterday was a momentous occasion as we congratulated the Class of 2024. This is the culmination of their time at UTS, but UTS will always be a part of their lives. Please read my message to graduates and join me in congratulating the Class of 2024 and their families on this remarkable accomplishment!

This is the last UTS Update for the 2023-24 school year. The first UTS Update for the 2024-25 school year will be sent out to returning and new families at the end of July.

I wish you all a relaxing and rejuvenating summer, and look forward to the learning that lies ahead for your children, whether at UTS or beyond.

Warm regards,

Dr. Leanne Foster
UTS Principal
