Fostering Brilliance

I had breakfast with a Superhero. Yes, that’s right, a real live Superhero. How many people can say that?

Last week, I joined Marvel Comics Superhero Shang-Chi for breakfast, accompanied by UTS Co-Captains Iris and Archie. For those of you who don’t know, Shang-Chi is also known as actor and author Simu Liu, a UTS alum from the Class of 2007.

Stepping Forward Tool

The Stepping Forward Tool is designed to empower students to confidentially share instances of discrimination and harm, witnessed or experienced, for intervention and support.

Its use is not a substitute for immediate emergency assistance.

This tool is intended to be responsive with the primary goal of fostering a safe and inclusive environment within our school community.

The Stepping Forward Tool can be found on the Student Portal and using QR codes posted around the school.

Giving Tuesday

Thank you for your donations to UTS on Giving Tuesday.

This year, we shared that our philanthropic priority is the bursary program.

With support for the UTS Bursary and Area of Greatest Need, your gifts directly help UTS students. Not all families whose children are admitted into UTS can afford tuition, and we are so grateful to the many parents who donated to scale up access for a UTS education.

Thank you for your support!

If you have yet to make your 2023 donation and wish to receive a receipt for the current tax year, you can donate online or call David Haisell in Advancement at 416-978-3919.

Celebrate the holidays with the UTS Shop

The holiday season is fast approaching, and the UTS Shop is the place to go for UTSers to show their school pride!

By student request, new ¼ zip sweatshirts and ½ zip sweatshirts are now available! UTS socks are new too and make a great stocking stuffer!
