Fostering Brilliance

Pure joy. This week I saw it on the faces of many of our students enjoying the annual UTS festivity of student fun known as House Island Day. Taking the ferry to Centre Island really creates the sensation of leaving the city and school behind. For one day, thoughts of exams and schoolwork receded and our students had a chance to just be. With many sporting the vibrant House colours of red, green, blue and yellow, they jubilantly took part in arts and crafts, played beach volleyball and chess, danced and spent quality time in the fresh air with their classmates. This day, perhaps more than any other of the year, provides students with memories that last a lifetime.

Potential TTC Strike

TTC workers may go on strike as early as Friday, June 7.

Please check your inboxes to see emails regarding our contingency plans that have been sent to parents and guardians and students.

Classes and exams will go online in the event of TTC strike as long as it lasts. In the event of a strike, an email will be sent tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. confirming online classes.

UTS Together 2024

UTS Together is the school’s giving challenge for the parent/guardian community to come together to support UTS students. The school’s philanthropic priority is to support the Bursary program, which is strategic to UTS as part of its core principles of meritocracy, academic excellence and accessibility. The goal is to get to 100% participation, and there is still time to participate before it ends on June 7th!
